Miami Swim Week Highlights on Day 3

Miami Swim Week™ The Shows rocked the runway and took over South Beach for a third day in a row — starting early in the morning with a relaxing yoga session hosted by Tiffany April Levy at Savoy Hotel. Following a rejuvenating morning wellness activation, Mystic Tan debuted its Tanning Glow Suite at the SLS Hotel South Beach for models, VIP attendees and any fashionistas that want to discover the perfect tanning experience via the brand’s new Mystic Tan® UnityTM Spray tan Booth that is easily operated from the Mystic Tan app.

Miami Swim Week’s third day of runway shows across the pool-top runway at the SLS Hotel South Beach hosted numerous top fashion designers with the hottest trend for swimwear included JAMS by Jillian, Island Tribe, Haitian Doll by Jobella, and Tiare Hawaii.

Some of the trends that we spotted on today’s runway shows included vibrant neon colors, iridescent and glow in the dark materials as seen in JAMS by Jilian’s 3AM collection and bohemian beach babe vibes. Slow fashion brand Island Tribe inspired us with their sustainable fashion runway with earthy colors and handmade accessories.

If you’re ready to activate your inner and outer Barbie girl, AMAVI debuted a new swimwear collection featuring bright colors including hot pink, yellow and light blue, ultimately helping fashionistas channel their inner Barbie.

Some more of our favorite fashion highlights from today included Gustavo Cadiles’ couture swimwear showing with the Miami Fashion Institute as a fellow Alumni. Cadile showed at the Paraíso Tent located on South Beach next to the W Hotel. As the day transitioned into evening, Bikinilista hosted a VIP dinner at Chotto Matte with special guests in honor of celebrating its expansion into the U.S. fashion market.

Rapper Flo Rida and Natalie Nunn from Bad Girls Club were in attendance— in fact Natalie walked the runway for Normal Culture’s runway show and delivered vibrant energy as expected. Love & Hip Hop’s Joseline Fernandez were seated in the front row watching models hit the runway with new summer swimwear looks.

Noteworthy guests in attendance included Michelle Lewin, Paris Chanel, Jimmy Lewin, Olga Ferrara, Miki à La Mode, Stephy Carrillo, Eddie Otero, Esther Beniflah, Lucia Ugarte, Antonietta Fioretti, Makeup by Roi, Yari Padillaro, and Sean Shvarzman.
