Miami Swim Week 2023 Recap By Art Hearts Fashion

Miami Swim Week 2023 Powered by Art Hearts Fashion officially wrapped last night while celebrating its 10th year of hosting the biggest and most epic Miami Swim Week runway fashion shows. Art Hearts Fashion introduced the Alec Monopoly x Chef Nobu Resort Wear Collection at the iconic Fontainebleau Hotel.


Plus, Art Hearts Fashion showcased pregnant mom models, trans models, and had the first ever small person walk Miami Swim Week Runway-- Say hello to beautiful African American reality TV Celebrity, Ayethaa AKA Thee Little Person®️. RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 3 contestant, trans-activist Carmen Carrera walked for Nike Swim while Love Island Season 9's heartthrob, Ryan Weekley, also hit the Miami Swim Week runway-- see below.

The newest tropical Amazon inspired swimwear and resort wear collection from Miami’s very own Liliana Montoya offered up stunning, sustainable and limited edition looks during this year’s Miami Swim Week runway show. Liliana Mon now offers women and kids apparel on her website and at her retail store located on Lincoln Road.

Willfredo Gerardo closed out the day with a show that left the audience in awe. The collection embodied opulence and glamor, featuring intricately beaded and embellished swimwear, exquisitely tailored to perfection. The pieces showcased a fusion of modern and classic elements, creating an unforgettable visual experience.



Inspired by Barbie and things girly pink, Lovechell’s latest swimwear collection to hit the Miami Swim Week runway lived up to its name with a variety of flirty pink heart shaped swimsuits and accessories on a variety of beautiful feminine shaped women with various skin tones.

BLACK TAPE PROJECT



Closing the evening, the iconic Black Tape Project presented an unforgettable live fashion presentation and wardrobe creation. The brand showcased over 100 looks on models, breaking fashion norms and pioneering artistic fashion in the 21st century. Using a cultural and innovative approach, Black Tape Project creatively used black and other colored tape to create unique and boundary-pushing designs.
