Miami Sisters Are Brewing a Better Future With Uncharted Coffee Supply

Founded in 2023 by Miami-based sisters Jasmine and Danielle Neveles, Uncharted Coffee Supply is a growing brand with a clear purpose: to create high-quality coffee that centers sustainability and transparency.
The Neveles sisters set out to challenge the status quo of an industry built on inequity, introducing limited-run roasts that help uplift underrepresented farming communities and promote lasting change. In just a year, the proudly Black- and women-owned brand earned a spot on Oprah’s Favorite Things 2024 list.
At its core, Uncharted is about doing coffee differently. Rather than mass-producing generic blends, the brand focuses on limited-run, single-origin roasts sourced exclusively from farms practicing regenerative agriculture. These farms use eco-conscious techniques such as on-site composting, vermiculture and low-intervention growing methods that actively restore soil health and biodiversity, rather than depleting it. Recognizing the environmental impact of conventional coffee farming – including deforestation and water pollution – the sisters built Uncharted with climate action in mind, committing 1% of every sale to environmental restoration initiatives around the globe.
Packaging is just as carefully considered. All bags are made from recyclable or compostable materials, with minimal waste and plastic-free shipping. From seed to sip, Uncharted strives for full transparency, and every coffee is USDA Organic and Fair Trade certified, ensuring ethical sourcing practices and fair pay for producers.
But sustainability is only part of the story. Jasmine and Danielle have made it their mission to elevate communities that have long been overlooked in the coffee supply chain. Uncharted works directly with smallholder farmers from historically marginalized backgrounds, building relationships rooted in trust and long-term investment. By highlighting the stories and unique flavor profiles of each farm, Uncharted makes it a priority to reinvest in local economies.
