Miami's Arsht Center Announces 2026-2027 Season of Free Cultural Events

The Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts of Miami-Dade County is expanding community access to the arts with a new season of free and "Pay What You Can" events. The 2026-2027 Arsht Impact season features over a dozen activities throughout the year, including Gospel Fest, Dia de Muertos celebrations, hip-hop performances, and a tribute to Haitian dance and music.
The Arsht Impact education and community programs currently offer free access to more than 42,000 people each season and 80,000 students annually. Since opening in 2006, the center has connected with over one million community members.
The following events are open to the public for the upcoming season:
(October 18, 2026, and February 21, 2027, plus four additional dates)
The Arsht brings free performances by local musicians, dancers, and artists to public venues across Miami-Dade County. Dates and locations will be announced on the Arsht Center website as they are finalized.
(November 1, 2026, at 3 p.m. | Knight Concert Hall)
The event begins on Thomson Plaza with a gathering featuring live music, sugar skull making, and art activities. The program continues inside the Knight Concert Hall with a performance by the Calpulli Mexican Dance Company exploring the history and meaning behind Dia de Muertos. Tickets are Pay What You Can, with a $10 suggested donation.

Pastor Marc Cooper and South Florida gospel singers present a holiday concert featuring songs of faith and hope. Tickets are Pay What You Can, with a $10 suggested donation.
(February 7, 2027, at 6 p.m. | Knight Concert Hall)
Choirs from church, community, and collegiate backgrounds compete for a cash prize and an opportunity to perform at Gospel Fest Miami. Applications for choirs open on September 14, 2026. Tickets are Pay What You Can, with a $10 suggested donation.
(February 20, 2027, at 12 p.m. | Ziff Ballet Opera House)
In celebration of Black History Month, the eighth annual Heritage Fest honors the contributions of pan-African artists. The all-ages event includes food vendors, performances, and activities, concluding with an evening concert on Thomson Plaza. Admission is free or Pay What You Can.
(April 17, 2027, at 7 p.m. | Knight Concert Hall)
Miami breakdancing group Ground Zero Crew showcases the core elements of hip-hop alongside local artists. A pre-show activation will take place on Thomson Plaza to start the evening. Tickets are Pay What You Can, with a $10 suggested donation.
(May 22, 2027, at 3 p.m. | Knight Concert Hall)
Miami-based dance company Tradisyon Lakou Lakay presents choreography, live music, and storytelling to highlight the history and resilience of the Haitian community. Tickets are Pay What You Can, with a $10 suggested donation.
(June 6, 2027, at 4 p.m. | Ziff Ballet Opera House)
The tenth annual LGBTQ+ Pride event features live entertainment and community activities. Admission is free or Pay What You Can.
Gospel Fest Miami
(June 19 and 20, 2027 | Knight Concert Hall)
The third annual edition of this weekend festival features national recording artists, local musicians, and the winner of the Arsht Gospel Choir Invitational. Tickets are Pay What You Can, with a $10 suggested donation.
AileyCamp Miami Final Performance
(July 24, 2027, at 7 p.m. | Knight Concert Hall)
Students from the AileyCamp Miami summer program present a finale featuring ballet, jazz, modern dance, West African dance, and spoken word. Applications for the 2027 camp open on January 4, 2027. Admission is free or Pay What You Can.
(August 7, 2027, at 11 a.m. | Ziff Ballet Opera House and Knight Concert Hall)
This annual event connects mind, body, and soul through music, theater, dance, and immersive experiences led by local artists and arts therapists. Admission is free or Pay What You Can.
(10 performances throughout the season)
Ticket holders for select classical music, dance, and Broadway performances can arrive an hour before curtain for themed interactive experiences, including dance lessons and cooking demonstrations.
Through the Pay What You Can program, guests can reserve free tickets or provide a suggested donation to sustain live arts in Miami. Minimum donations secure priority seating.
