Miami New Drama Premiere 'Here There Are Blueberries' Heads to Broadway This Fall
A play that began as a workshop at Miami New Drama will open on Broadway this fall, marking a new milestone for the Miami-based theatre company.
Tectonic Theater Project’s Here There Are Blueberries, written by Moisés Kaufman and Amanda Gronich and developed in partnership with Miami New Drama, went on to become a 2024 Pulitzer Prize finalist and will now transfer to Broadway.
Other recent works originating at Miami New Drama have also moved to national stages, including Birthright at MCC Theater in New York, where it was named a New York Times Critic’s Pick, and The Zionists at Barrington Stage Company in the Berkshires.
Single tickets for Miami New Drama’s upcoming season will open to the public on September 8, the same day Broadway tickets for Here There Are Blueberries go on sale.
