Miami Lights Up with Unique Red Bull Illume Exhibition

The world’s greatest adventure and action sports imagery exhibition made its way to Generator hotel in Miami, USA with a one-of-a-kind setup this past December.
Red Bull Illume, the world’s greatest adventure and action sports imagery contest, and Generator, a trail-blazing hospitality brand, have partnered up to bring the Red Bull Illume Exhibit Tour to sunny Miami, USA, which was held from December 2 to 15, 2020.
Feast your eyes on the top 60 finalists from Red Bull Illume Image Quest 2019, selected by a panel of 50 esteemed judges from a selection of 59,511 submissions. All the imagery is illuminated on the massive 2 meter wide lightboxes, giving the exhibition a special feeling; enhanced further by the totally unique setup throughout the spectacular Generator Miami.

December is usually the most artful time in the city’s calendar, but as many major events and festivals have been cancelled across the country, including the annual Art Basel Miami, Generator still wants to celebrate the arts, and what better way than with the Red Bull Illume Outdoor Exhibition, open to guests and members of the public. The exhibition is perfect for everyone; whether you love art, adventure and action sports, photography, or are looking for something inspiring, there’s plenty to see.
Art-deco icon, Generator Miami is housed on the legendary Collins Avenue in the heart of Miami Beach. The hotel is home to 105 rooms, Driftway Bar and The Jim & Neesie restaurant serving a modern take on classic comfort food by Executive Chef Daniel Roy. Art & design are an integral part of the Generator experience with a rotating hotel art collection and striking mural by renowned South African artist Chris Auret, famed for his Mandela paintings and styling of Afrika Burn, the Burning Man regional event in Africa.
Known as the hospitality disruptor that brought affordable-luxe accommodation to 14 properties in Europe and the US, it is the first time Generator has partnered up with Red Bull Illume to bring a unique experience.
