The Miami International Piano Festival (MIPF) has announced its 2025–2026 season, returning to the Aventura Arts & Cultural Center with a diverse lineup of performances featuring internationally acclaimed pianists.

The upcoming season includes one orchestral concerto evening, three solo recitals, two duo piano concerts, and a special jazz program with Grammy Award winner Bill Charlap and rising star Brandon Goldberg.

The season opens on October 19, 2025, with Concerto Night, featuring the Miami International Piano Festival Orchestra conducted by Igor Gruppman.

The evening will showcase three celebrated pianists performing iconic works:

  • Ilya Itin (Russia) — Beethoven’s Concerto No. 4 in G Major, Op. 58

  • Dmitry Ablogin (Russia) — Chopin’s Concerto No. 2 in F Minor, Op. 21

  • Alexander Gavrylyuk (Ukraine) — Grieg’s Concerto in A Minor, Op. 16

Building on the success of the Festival’s previous concerto programs, this event continues MIPF’s tradition of presenting classical masterpieces performed by leading international artists.

Following the season opener, MIPF will present a series of “Classical Sundays at Five” concerts featuring:

  • November 17, 2025: Dmitry Ablogin performing works by Beethoven, Mendelssohn, Chopin, and Hummel.

  • January 11, 2026: Two Piano Extravaganza with Kemal Gekic (Croatia) and Kristina Miller (Russia/Germany) performing Rachmaninov, Lutoslawski, and other major composers.

  • February 22, 2026: Alexander Gavrylyuk performing Mozart, Chopin, Liszt, and Mussorgsky.

MIPF Artistic Director Giselle Brodsky noted that the new season “continues our mission to present great artists who inspire through the power of live performance and deep musical expression.”

The Miami International Piano Festival’s 2025–2026 season offers audiences the opportunity to experience world-class pianists in an intimate concert setting, highlighting both classical tradition and contemporary artistry.
