Miami International Festival of the Voice Announces 2027 Lineup at Maurice Ferre Park
Florida Grand Opera has announced the 2027 Miami International Festival of the Voice, a three-night outdoor event at Maurice Ferre Park in downtown Miami.
The festival opens on Friday, January 8, at 7:30 p.m. with "Opera in the Movies," a concert of popular opera selections paired with film clips. On Saturday, January 9, at 7:30 p.m., Florida Grand Opera will present a live staging of "The Barber of Seville." The series concludes on Sunday, January 10, at 7:00 p.m. with "Opera Remix," which features Latin music, reggae, jazz, and EDM influences.
Performances will take place on a specially built stage in the grassy area of Maurice Ferre Park between Perez Art Museum Miami and Frost Science Museum, with audiences invited to bring blankets and enjoy the open-air setting.
