As 2023 comes to a close, destinations across South Florida are waving goodbye to the past year and welcoming 2024 with celebrations. From hotel masquerade parties to exclusive multi-course restaurant menus, we've rounded up some of the hottest places to ring in the New Year.

Miami Beach Holiday Festival of Lights

Kick-off New Year’s Eve weekend with the Miami Beach Holiday Festival of Lights, a series of free, family-friendly musical performances and lights shows taking over The Gabriel South Beach on December 29 and 30. Presented by the Miami Beach Classical Music Festival (MMF), a nonprofit dedicated to providing affordable, world-class musical instruction and groundbreaking performance experiences to young artists and the South Florida community, the festival’s first-of-their-kind live musical performances feature cutting-edge projection-mapping technology where intricate lighting designs and captivating visuals overlap, turning one of South Beach’s most iconic building façades into an interactive exhibit with vibrant imagery. Every surface of The Gabriel South Beach will become a living canvas as the projections play off the building’s various shapes and textures in perfect unison with the rhythm of the music. Performances take place on December 29 and 30 at 6:30, 7:30 and 8:30 p.m.
