The Miami Downtown Development Authority (Miami DDA) is launching the 2025–2026 Downtown Creative Collaborators Grant (DCCG) program with a call for bold ideas that activate Downtown Miami through culture, community, and creativity. Starting July 1, eligible applicants can apply for a share of up to $475,000 in funding for events and initiatives happening between October 2025 and September 2026.

The DCCG program offers grants ranging from $5,000 to $50,000, now within a new three-tier funding structure designed to better align proposals with event scale, budget, and city coordination needs.
“This program brings people together in a way that’s meaningful,” said Arva Suzanne Gibson, chair of the Miami DDA’s Arts, Culture and Entertainment Committee. “It’s about giving residents and creatives a chance to see themselves in the heart of the city and take pride in where they live.”
As part of this year’s program cycle, the Miami DDA is introducing:
A three-tier funding structure to help applicants better align their project scope and budget:
Tier 1 ($5K–$7.5K): Small, hyperlocal activations for up to 499 people
Tier 2 ($10K–$15K): Medium-sized events between 500-999 people
Tier 3 ($20K–$50K): Large-scale cultural festivals and installations with an expected attendance of more than 1,000 people
A 10% marketing allocation requirement, to ensure strong visibility and engagement
A streamlined application portal via Submittable
Past recipients have included Nu Deco Ensemble, Juggerknot Theatre Company, and the Miami Light Project, Inc., whose projects brought orchestral innovation, immersive theater, and world-class Latin music experiences to Downtown Miami’s streets, stages, and public spaces.
