Miami DDA Kicks off the 2024 Holiday Season With Downtown Miami’s Dazzling Holiday Lighting Spectacular
Presented by the Miami DDA, this year’s festivities promise to be grander than ever, headlined by a spectacular, free live performance from the Miami Symphony Orchestra and the dazzling lighting of a 24-foot Christmas tree and 12-foot menorah on the historic Flagler Street. The celebration will be filled with free family-friendly fun, including face painting, a bounce house, a ballon artist, snacks, an enchanting Holiday Village, and even a special visit from Santa Claus himself.
Guests can enjoy sips and bites at the fan-favorite Julia & Henry’s bar areas as well as at nearby restaurants and businesses. Plus, the Holiday Village will be open every weekend through December 29th with a special closing of the Holidays on January 1st, making Flagler Street your go-to destination for holiday magic all season long.
Additionally, the Miami DDA will be collecting toys for the children at Chapman Partnership. Starting November 17 through December 8 (only Sundays from 2-6pm), attendees are encouraged to bring a new, unwrapped toy to designated area in front of the Olympia Theater and help make a child’s holiday extra special.
The Holiday Lighting Spectacular will take place on Friday, November 15, 2024, from 6:00-10:00 PM at Flagler Street & SE 3rd Ave., Miami, FL 33131.
It is free and open to the public, making it a perfect holiday outing for the whole family.
