Miami-Dade Hosts Virtual Community Meeting on Coconut Grove Playhouse Plans April 23, 2026
Miami-Dade County officials will hold a virtual community meeting to provide an update on plans to bring theater back to the historic Coconut Grove Playhouse.
The session is organized by Miami-Dade County Commissioner Raquel Regalado, District 7, together with the Miami-Dade County Department of Cultural Affairs. County staff will share the latest news about the design and implementation of the Coconut Grove Playhouse project and will outline next steps in the effort to restore live theater at the site.
The community meeting will take place on Thursday, April 23, 2026 at 6:00 pm as a virtual event via Zoom. Participation is free, and advance registration is required.
Residents can register online to receive the Zoom link for the meeting.
