Audience Access Grants and Ongoing Opportunities

The Audience Access Grants Program accepts applications year-round, subject to available funds, to help cover ADA-related access services such as American Sign Language interpretation, captioning, audio description, accessible materials and training that ensure program access for audiences of all abilities.

Projects are funded on a first-come, first-served basis and are paid on a reimbursement basis. Applicants must schedule a pre-grant staff consultation and be registered users of SurveyMonkey Apply, with additional details available on the department’s grants page.

The department is also seeking volunteer grant panelists from the community, including artists, arts professionals, educators, business leaders and arts supporters, to review cultural grant applications and make funding recommendations through its panel process.

Grant funding for the 2026–2027 fiscal year remains contingent on approval of the County’s 2026–2027 budget by the Mayor and the Board of County Commissioners.
