Miami-Dade County Schedules FY 2026–2027 Budget Hearings for September
Miami-Dade County will hold two public hearings in September 2026 on the proposed fiscal year 2026–2027 budget, inviting Miami Emerging Arts Leaders and other residents to follow how spending decisions are made.
The first budget hearing is scheduled for September 3, 2026, and the second for September 17, 2026. Both hearings will begin at 5:01 p.m. in the Miami-Dade County Commission Chamber on the second floor of the Stephen P. Clark Government Center, 111 NW First Street, Miami, Florida, 33128. A live webcast will also be available at miamidade.gov/webcasting for those who wish to watch remotely.
Attendees will be able to see in real time how community members and elected officials work together on the budget, how funding priorities are set and how these choices affect county programs, services, and the arts and culture sector. Miami Emerging Arts Leaders and others interested in local government are encouraged to observe the proceedings.
