Miami-Dade County Invites Public Input on 2026-2027 Budget at August Town Halls
Miami-Dade County residents will have several opportunities in August to provide feedback on the proposed 2026-2027 budget during a series of in-person Budget Town Hall meetings.
Mayor Daniella Levine Cava presented the proposed fiscal year 2026-2027 budget on July 15, and the County is now seeking community input as it prepares the final plan. The town halls will allow residents to share issues and priorities affecting their families and neighborhoods, contributing to budget decisions for the coming year.
Budget Town Hall meetings will take place across Miami-Dade County throughout August, each scheduled from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Locations include the Westchester Cultural Arts Center on Wednesday, August 5, Oak Grove Park/Father Gerard Jean-Juste Community Center on Thursday, August 6, Miami-Dade Main Public Library on Friday, August 7, Arcola Lakes Senior Center on Monday, August 10, North Dade Regional Library on Wednesday, August 19, and Dennis Moss Cultural Arts Center on Monday, August 31.
Registration is encouraged but not required to attend the meetings, and interpretation services will be available in Spanish and Creole to support broader participation. Register online to secure a spot or to receive updates about the budget process.
