Miami-Dade County will hold a free cultural grants workshop for arts groups, artists and nonprofit community organizations in District 9 on Tuesday, March 31, 2026 at 6:00 pm at the Dennis C. Moss Cultural Arts Center in Cutler Bay, Florida.

The session will introduce the County’s arts grant portfolio to arts organizations, community nonprofit organizations that produce cultural arts projects, individual artists and artist collectives. Attendees will receive an overview of funding programs to help identify which grant opportunities best fit their cultural projects, followed by an interactive question and answer segment with staff.
Projects supported through these grants typically demonstrate strong community involvement, include outreach that promotes inclusion and equitable access to the arts, focus on services for underserved populations and under resourced neighborhoods, have potential to generate tourism, encourage preservation of heritage and culture, and may involve collaborative initiatives developed by social service organizations and cultural groups.
Arts groups, cultural organizations, community nonprofits, individual artists and artist collectives are encouraged to attend to learn how to apply for arts funding and to determine which programs are most appropriate for their work. Register online to reserve a place at the District 9 workshop.

A related arts grants workshop is scheduled for District 7 on April 14 at 6:00 pm at Pinecrest Gardens.
