Miami-Dade County Department of Cultural Affairs will hold a free cultural grants workshop for District 7 to introduce local arts organizations, community nonprofits, individual artists, and artist collectives to available funding opportunities.

The in-person session is scheduled for Tuesday, April 14, 2026 at 6:00 pm at Pinecrest Gardens, 11000 Red Road, Pinecrest, FL 33156. Pinecrest Gardens will host attendees from across District 7 who are seeking support for cultural projects.

Participants will receive an overview of the County’s arts grant portfolio to help identify which programs best match their cultural projects. The workshop will cover funding opportunities for nonprofit cultural organizations and individual artists, as well as additional resources available to the cultural community. An interactive question and answer segment will follow the presentation, with questions accepted in English, Spanish, and Haitian Creole. ADA accessible accommodations are available upon request.
Projects supported through these programs typically demonstrate strong community involvement, include outreach that promotes inclusion and equitable access to the arts, deliver cultural services to underserved populations and under-resourced neighborhoods, generate potential tourism, encourage preservation of heritage and traditions, and support collaborations between social service organizations and cultural groups.

Arts groups, cultural organizations, community nonprofits, individual artists, and artist collectives are invited to attend and learn how to apply for arts funding. Those interested in the District 7 workshop can sign up online to reserve a place.
