Miami-Dade County Department of Cultural Affairs will hold a free cultural grants workshop in District 10 to help arts organizations, community nonprofits, individual artists, and artist collectives learn how to access county funding for cultural projects.

The in-person session, titled Introduction to Miami-Dade County Arts Grants, will take place on Tuesday, May 12, 2026 at 6:00 pm at the Westchester Cultural Arts Center, 7930 SW 40 Street, Miami, FL 33155.
Participants will receive an overview of the county’s arts grants portfolio to identify which programs best match their cultural projects. The workshop will conclude with an interactive question-and-answer segment, with questions accepted in English, Spanish, and Haitian Creole, and ADA accommodations available upon request.
Eligible projects include initiatives that demonstrate strong community involvement, expand inclusive access to the arts, serve underserved populations or under-resourced neighborhoods, support tourism, preserve heritage and cultural traditions, or involve collaborative arts-based initiatives developed with social service organizations.
Prospective attendees can register online to reserve a spot for the workshop.
