Miami-Dade County Announces Arts Grants Workshop and Spring 2026 Funding Deadlines
Miami-Dade County’s Department of Cultural Affairs is launching a new round of workshops, grant opportunities, and community programs for arts organizations and individual artists across the county in spring 2026.
A cultural grants workshop for arts groups, nonprofit community organizations, individual artists, and artist collectives in District 9 will take place on Tuesday, March 31, 2026 at 6:00 pm at the Dennis C. Moss Cultural Arts Center, 10950 SW 211 St, Cutler Bay, FL 33189. The session will introduce the County’s arts grants portfolio, outline funding programs appropriate for different cultural projects, and include an interactive question and answer segment with staff.
Questions during the District 9 workshop may be addressed in English, Spanish, or Haitian Creole, and ADA accessible accommodations are available. Interested participants can sign up online for the in-person session, while a related Arts Grants Workshop Series event for District 7 is scheduled for April 14, 2026 at Pinecrest Gardens.
For the 2025-2026 fiscal year, the Tourist Development Council Grants Program is accepting fourth quarter applications, with a courtesy review deadline of April 6, 2026 at 11:59 pm and a final application deadline of April 13, 2026 at 11:59 pm. Additional competitive funding opportunities for organizations include the Cultural Development, Developing Arts in Neighborhoods, Audience Access, Capital Development, and International Cultural Partnerships grant programs, while individual artists may apply to the Artist Access Grant Program, which has a deadline of June 1, 2026 at 11:59 pm.
Regional partners are also opening application periods, including the City of Coral Gables, which will host a mandatory Cultural Grants webinar on Thursday, March 19, 2026 at 9:00 am via Zoom for organizations seeking Fiscal Year 2026-2027 support, and the Miami Emerging Arts Leaders initiative, which will present a leadership and decision-making workshop on March 31, 2026 at 10:00 am at the Marshall L. Davis, Sr. African Heritage Cultural Arts Center in Miami.
Additional opportunities include a call for volunteer grant panelists to review Miami-Dade County cultural funding applications, recruitment for arts-related job openings at county facilities and nonprofit institutions, an invitation for organizations to become 2027 Golden Ticket Arts partners providing free cultural access for older adults, and the Greater Miami Convention and Visitors Bureau’s Explore Miami Deals Program, which runs from April 1 to May 31, 2026 and highlights discounted admission and special offers at museums, attractions, and cultural venues.
