Miami City Ballet will conclude its 40th Anniversary Season with ¡Vamos! To the Beach, a mixed program running May 1–10 in Miami and Fort Lauderdale, while also opening subscriptions for its newly announced 2026/27 season under Artistic Director Gonzalo Garcia.

The season finale features the Company Premiere of Twyla Tharp’s Deuce Coupe, set to music by The Beach Boys, alongside Paul Taylor’s Company B and the world premiere of Durante Verzola’s Grand Glittering Gershwin. Performances take place May 1–3 at the Arsht Center in Miami and May 9–10 at the Broward Center in Fort Lauderdale, with tickets starting at $45.

Alongside the closing program, the company is promoting a Pointe Shoe Campaign that offsets the cost of footwear for its dancers, who require new pointe shoes for each performance at an estimated seasonal outlay of nearly $400,000.

Looking ahead, Miami City Ballet has opened subscriptions for the 2026/27 season, Garcia’s first as artistic director, which will combine classic repertory with new works that continue to develop the company’s identity.

Tickets and subscription details are available through the Miami City Ballet website, where audiences can buy tickets and review full program and season information.
