Miami Children’s Museum Launches September 2026 Lineup of Family Events
Miami Children’s Museum in Miami has released its program calendar for September 2026, featuring special themed weekends, weekly early childhood activities, sensory-friendly hours, and a fall fundraising event.
From September 5 to 7 the museum will host an Anniversary Glow Party with blacklight dancing, glow in the dark games, and hands on slime making for families. Details on this and other programs are available on the museum’s upcoming events page.
Arts Alive will run on September 12 and 13 with mosaic and watercolor activities, followed by a Hispanic Heritage Month celebration on September 19 and 20 that includes a dominoes tournament, salsa and merengue dancing, a cooking demonstration, and an interactive reading with author Brenda Arce. The month concludes on September 26 and 27 with the World Wide Day of Play: Flashback to Fun, offering oversized classic games, craft projects, and puppet making.
Weekly “Mini” programs for young children will be held Monday through Friday, including music, STEAM, story, and art sessions, while Sensory Friendly Saturday and Second Sunday Member Mornings will provide quieter museum hours on the second weekend of the month. Families can also purchase tickets to the 2026 Not So Scary Halloween Bash, which features trick or treating in the galleries, costumes, crafts, science activities, pumpkin decorating, and a haunted house, through the event’s online ticket page.
In addition, the museum has launched a September community partnership with Miami Grill that allows guests to redeem their admission ticket for a free kids’ meal with the purchase of an adult meal at participating locations.
