Miami Children’s Museum Hosts National Ice Cream Weekend and World Cup Watch Party
Miami Children’s Museum in Miami will mark National Ice Cream Weekend on Saturday, July 18, and Sunday, July 19, with family activities, a FIFA World Cup watch party, and special programming at the museum.

Visitors can receive a free scoop of Blue Bell ice cream provided by Florida Dairy Farmers, take photos with character Mary Moo, and participate in an ice cream puff paint activity. On Sunday, July 19, guests are invited to a FIFA World Cup watch party, where families can support their preferred teams, practice soccer skills with Miami Scores, and explore the museum’s Planet Soccer exhibit.
The museum will also present a tropical Christmas celebration on Saturday, July 25, and Sunday, July 26, featuring summertime snow, photo opportunities with Santa during his Miami vacation, shimmering shell ornament crafts, and an Elf on the Shelf scavenger hunt throughout the museum.
In addition, registration remains open for Session III of the 2026 Explorers Summer Camp, which runs through July 31 and includes weekly themes focused on nature, culture, performing arts, and innovation. Campers will take part in activities such as Adventurers of the Past: Excavating the Essence and Game Masters: The Logic of the Level, with weekly field trips, lunch, and optional before and after care.
Families can buy tickets for upcoming museum events and register now for the remaining weeks of the Explorers Summer Camp.
