Miami Children’s Museum Announces Mid-June Programs and Events
Miami Children’s Museum in Miami has outlined a series of family programs and special events scheduled for mid-June, including daily performances, cultural celebrations, a new exhibit opening, and an ongoing summer camp.

The museum continues “Showtime: Anyways, Golf!” as a daily program with performances at 12:00 pm and 4:00 pm, offering visitors scheduled live entertainment during regular operating days.
On June 19, the museum will host “Free Friday: Free To Be A Juneteenth Jubilee” from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm, marking the Juneteenth holiday with themed programming sponsored by Baptist Health.
Father’s Day celebrations are planned for June 21, giving families an opportunity to mark the occasion with activities at the museum.
On June 20, “The Artist’s Lens: Carlynn Newhouse” will run from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm as part of the museum’s arts programming, supported by Sarah Arison, The Lynn & Louis Wolfson II Family Foundation, and Knight Foundation.
Additional programming titled “In My Element” is scheduled for June 20 and 21, and on June 25 the museum will mark “Happy Birthday, Eric Carle!” with themed activities for visitors.

New Exhibit: Planet Soccer
A new exhibit titled “Planet Soccer” is set to open on Saturday, June 27, inviting children to explore a space-themed environment where they can practice soccer skills through active play and imaginative scenarios.

Caribbean Heritage Weekend
Caribbean Heritage Weekend will take place on June 27 and 28, highlighting Caribbean culture with music, storytelling, and food-focused activities. Visitors will be able to design carnival masks and join a parade through the museum led by Tradisyon-Lakou-Lakay.

Explorers Summer Camp Sessions
Explorers Summer Camp is underway from June 8 to July 31, featuring three rotating themes: “Wild Miami: Nature, Food & Discovery,” “Backstage Pass: Broadway & Beats,” and “Maker City: Build, Invent & Play.” Weekly field trips and lunch are included, and camp hours run from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm with optional before and after care.
The museum reports that spots remain available for Session II and Session III of Explorers Summer Camp.

National Dairy Month Partnership
June is recognized as National Dairy Month, and Florida Dairy Farmers, a long-time partner of Miami Children’s Museum, is using the occasion to highlight the role of Florida’s dairy industry and agriculture in family nutrition.
The collaboration focuses on educational efforts that explain how milk reaches consumers and the work involved in dairy production, from early mornings on farms to herd care and community engagement.
