Take Care with Peanuts: The Exhibit
Miami Children’s Museum invites guests to experience their newly opened exhibit, Take Care with Peanuts. Celebrating 75 years of Charles M. Schulz’s iconic comic strip, the exhibit is an engaging blend of nostalgia for parents and fun with meaningful education for kids. Visitors can dive into activities that teach mindfulness, empathy, and sustainable habits while connecting with their favorite characters.
WHEN: Open during regular museum hours Monday to Sunday (10am-6pm)
National Puppy Day
Celebrate National Puppy Day at Miami Children’s Museum with a day full of tail-wagging fun! Kids can snap a photo with adorable stuffed pups, create a custom frame, and join a playful Make-Believe Puppy Adoption, complete with a crafted furry friend and adoption certificate. In the Art Studio, little ones can explore puppy-themed Pop Art, then enjoy a heartwarming meet-and-greet with therapy dogs from Heel2Heal! Please see HERE for photos from last Puppy Play Day.

Girl Power Palooza
Join MiChiMu in celebrating Women’s Month at Girl Power Palooza with activities such as cooking in Chef Edna’s kitchen, a Safari Sensory Bin honoring Jane Goodwall’s wild discoveries, and a Girl Power Superhero Craft admiring strong women! In the Art Studio, get creative at Mask Palooza, where kids can design bold and unique masks inspired by trailblazing women artists. Plus, enjoy face painting and more!

Autism Acceptance Celebration
Miami Children’s Museum invites guests to honor Autism Awareness Month, a month of embracing all ways of thinking, learning and playing! Children can enjoy a silent disco adapting to sensory needs, hands on activities that celebrate different ways of engaging with the world, and therapy dog visits. Expert resources and officials will be available offering valuable insight on neurodiverse learning. Join the museum for a weekend of discovery and inclusion!

Pesach with PJ Library
Celebrate Passover with PJ Library through a festive day of storytelling, crafts, and interactive activities that bring Pesach traditions to life! In collaboration with PJ Library, a non-profit organization sending Jewish children's books to families to help them connect with Jewish culture and traditions.

Easter Spring Fling
Join Miami Children’s Museum in celebrating Spring with sensory bins, an egg and spoon obstacle course, and egg-shaped art crafts in the Art studio! Children can take part in the Egg-cellent Egg Hunt, featuring "beep eggs" for a sensory-friendly twist, and take home a goody bag!

Sensory Friendly Saturday
MiChiMu invites guests to experience free sensory-friendly events on the second Saturday of each month, featuring carefully designed activities, reduced noise, dimmed lighting, and limited attendance to create a comfortable and engaging environment for children with disabilities and their families. Pura Vida Monthly Cooking Club
Join MiChiMu for a healthy kid-cooking session every month. This month, children will be making a Pink Paradise Smoothie (Strawberry & Banana). Next month, children will be making an Avocado Toast with eggs. Sponsored by Pura Vida.
