Miami Children’s Museum Announces August 2026 Family Programs and Events
Miami Children’s Museum in Miami has released its August programming schedule, featuring themed weekends, daily shows, and recurring family-focused sessions throughout the month.

On August 8 and 9, the Museum will host a Back to School Bash with hands-on activities such as designing folders, exploring a real school bus, and a lunch-tray obstacle relay race. Families can also enter a school supply raffle. Tickets are available through the Museum’s upcoming events page.
Later in the month, All The World’s a Stage! Weekend on August 22 and 23 will invite children to participate in improv workshops and puppet making with the Museum’s theater troupe, along with performances of the original production “Anyways, Golf!”. The Say Yes to the Mess weekend on August 29 and 30 will focus on messy play, including bubble foam, slime, and paint, with visitors encouraged to bring towels or a change of clothes.
The Museum will also continue recurring programs such as Sensory Friendly Saturday and Second Sunday Member Mornings, both scheduled for August 8 and 9 from 9:00 am to 11:00 am, as well as weekly Baby STEAM sessions on Wednesdays. In addition, partner venue Adrienne Arsht Center will present Art + Mind Day on August 8 at 10:00 am, a day of arts and wellness that includes mini performances, presentations, and hands-on workshops by Miami artists and arts therapists, with more details available here.
