A beloved South of Fifth landmark just got a stylish new upgrade. Say hello to Balfour, a reimagined boutique hotel where historic charm blends with modern comfort and local culture. Originally opened in the 1940s as The Lord Balfour Hotel, this Ocean Drive classic has been refreshed and reintroduced as part of Morgans Originals, bringing a new energy to one of Miami’s most iconic neighborhoods.
The hotel’s 82 rooms and suites blend art deco elegance with midcentury design touches and soft herringbone flooring to create a relaxed, upscale vibe. Sun-drenched Superior Rooms and spacious, family-friendly Suites complete with built-in bunk beds offer the perfect Miami Beach getaway. Bathrooms feature plush robes and luxe vegan bath products from The Botanist & The Chemist, while in-room bar carts come stocked with Lavazza coffee, premium cocktail shakers, and refreshment essentials for guests to enjoy, whether prepping for a night out or keeping things low-key.
