Miami Beach Promenade Pet Parade Debuts in Lummus Park

Pet owners and animal lovers alike are invited to join the first annual Miami Beach Promenade Pet Parade on Saturday, March 29 as they celebrate their four-legged companions in a whimsical event filled with creativity, community spirit and a whole lot of tail-wagging excitement. The event will take place in Lummus Park on Ocean Drive at 14 Place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and is presented by Miami Beach residents in partnership with the Ocean Drive Association, Miami-Dade County Animal Services and the Miami Beach Mayor and City Commission.

“The Miami Beach Promenade Pet Parade is a wonderful way to bring our community together in celebration of our beloved pets,” said Miami Beach Commissioner Laura Dominguez. “This event highlights the creativity and passion of our pet owners while also supporting important causes like pet adoption and animal care. I encourage everyone to join us for a fun-filled day that showcases the special bond between people and their pets.”
In addition to the parade, attendees can enjoy an array of pet-focused activities, including pet-related vendors offering unique goods and services, music and more. Miami-Dade County Animal Services will also be present with pet adoptions and vaccines.
The Miami Beach Promenade Pet Parade schedule is as follows:
• 10:00 a.m. – Talent & Trick Contest
• 11:20 a.m. – Miami Beach Police Department K9 Demonstration
• 11:45 a.m. – Most Unique Pet Contest
• 12:30 p.m. – Pet Owner & Dress-Up Contest
• 1:30 p.m. – Pet Parade
