The Miami Beach Chamber of Commerce is set to mark a major milestone with its 100th Anniversary Gala on May 9, bringing together the people and partnerships that have shaped the city’s business community for a century.

Held at the Loews Miami Beach Hotel, the black-tie evening will spotlight the Chamber’s evolution alongside Miami Beach itself, blending recognition, community, and forward-looking momentum under the theme “Then. Now. Always Miami Beach.”

The program centers on honoring leaders whose work has left a lasting mark on the city. This year’s honorees include David Martin as Corporate Citizen of the Year, V&E Hospitality for Excellence in Tourism, Louis Aguirre for Distinguished Service, and Dr. Martin Karp for Outstanding Achievement. A group of past Chamber chairs will also be recognized as Members of the Decade, highlighting the leadership behind the organization’s growth over the years.

Beyond the awards, the evening is designed as a full experience, with live entertainment and curated dining woven throughout the program. At its core, the gala also serves a broader purpose, with proceeds supporting the Miami Beach Chamber Education Foundation and its work expanding access to education, healthcare, and career pathways for local students.

Tickets start at $500, with additional sponsorship opportunities available. Readers can view event details and purchase tickets through the Miami Beach Chamber of Commerce website.

Founded in 1921, the Miami Beach Chamber of Commerce has remained a steady force behind the city’s business community. The Centennial Gala offers a moment to reflect on that legacy while setting the tone for what comes next.
