Explore the most exceptional exhibitions, installations and neighborhood highlights elevating Miami Art Week into a global cultural moment. During Miami Art Week (December 1-7), Greater Miami & Miami Beach transforms into a citywide gallery, as museums, neighborhoods and public spaces come alive with art. Anchored by Art Basel Miami Beach (December 5-7) with more than 250 galleries from 35 countries, the week also includes numerous other Miami Art Week Fairs, including Art Miami, CONTEXT, Design Miami, Untitled, NADA, SCOPE and Prizm, alongside public installations that affirm Miami’s status as a global cultural hub.

The Betsy - South Beach’s Exhibitions Program, curated by co-owner Lesley Goldwasser, presents limited-edition works by Christo and Jeanne-Claude—many photographed by Wolfgang Volz—in The Betsy Gallery. A free public opening takes place on Thursday, December 4, at 10 p.m.

Lincoln Road, Miami Beach’s open-air art park, showcases 14 large-scale works by Philippe Katverine, Gillie and Marc, Rubem Robierb and Oscar Esteban Martinez. Highlights include Katerine’s pink inflatables, Martinez’s mirrored “La Herencia Viva” and Robierb’s interactive “Dream Machine.”

VISU Contemporary presents Vanishing Act (November 29–January 31), a major exhibition by photographer David LaChapelle featuring more than 30 works, including nine world premieres. The free public opening with LaChapelle takes place on Friday, December 5, from 6-9 p.m.

Miami Art Week At The Gates Chromasthesia

The Gates Hotel South Beach and NFTCLT host Chromasthesia, a weeklong sensory showcase by Toronto-based artist LOTUS(9), featuring AI-powered digital works alongside muralists  Morazul, Victoria Citro and Punk Me Tender. The event series includes art, music and wellness experiences, concluding with the Sunsets on South Beach event with Kool King Coconut Water.



One Love Digital Art Exhibition Art by YuZapata

As part of Chromasthesia’s programming from December 1-7, The Gates Hotel South Beach and One Love Art DAO present Listen To Your Heart, an immersive Miami Art Week exhibition featuring global artists and highlighted by a special happy hour on Thursday, December 4, from 5-10 p.m. The showcase includes works by Marlon Pruz, Superama and YuZapata, transforming The Gates into a vibrant hub of international collaboration and creative expression. For Miami Art Week, borderline at The Goodtime Hotel brings together Queue Gallery, Supermarket Gallery and Miami Art Society for a collaborative show featuring 11 South Florida artists. The exhibition opens with a free public reception on Thursday, November 20, from 7-11 p.m. and remains on view through December 8.

For Miami Art Week, Cadillac Hotel & Beach Club presents an exhibition by multidisciplinary artist Hira Majeed, transforming the Riviera and Riviera Terrace into a serene, reflective gallery space. Showcasing a selection of new and award-winning works across painting and sculpture, the exhibition delves into themes of love, loss and transformation. Open to the public, the exhibition will be available for viewing from Monday, December 1 to Sunday, December 7 from 9 a.m.–10 p.m. with an opening reception night on Thursday, December 4 at 6:30-8:30 p.m. in The Riviera Room. No RSVP is required.

The Junk Machine by ClownVamp

MAD Arts presents The Junk Machine by conceptual artist ClownVamp through December 7. The interactive installation features a bright pink robot that generates endless AI-produced “junk mail,” prompting reflection on technology’s shift from creative tool to engine of mass production.
