I’m tracking April events in Miami for 2026. The month starts with Miami Beach Pride and its parade, runs the Miami Film Festival mid‑month, and includes other gatherings like seafood festivals and tech conferences later in April. Each event has official links for details and tickets.

The month begins with Miami Beach Pride, an 11-day celebration of LGBTQ+ culture running April 2–12, 2026, across Miami Beach. The event includes parties, art activations and community programs leading up to the main Festival and Parade on April 11–12 at Lummus Park, which typically attracts more than 170,000 attendees.

As part of Pride programming, “Drag Me to Pride” will take place April 10, 2026, bringing performers from the RuPaul’s Drag Race universe to an outdoor drag show at Lummus Park in Miami Beach.

Mid-month, Miami’s film scene takes center stage with the Miami Film Festival, scheduled for April 9–19, 2026. Now in its 43rd edition, the festival will showcase nearly 200 films and industry events across theaters and cultural venues throughout the city, highlighting international, American and Ibero-American cinema.

Food lovers will also have something to celebrate with the Deering Seafood Festival, returning April 12, 2026 at the historic Deering Estate in South Miami. The festival highlights South Florida seafood with chef demonstrations, tastings, live music and family activities along the waterfront.

Toward the end of the month, Miami’s technology sector takes the spotlight with eMerge Americas, expected April 23–24, 2026, at the Miami Beach Convention Center. The conference brings together startups, investors, global tech companies and policymakers for panels, product launches and networking events.

The city’s LGBTQ+ cultural calendar continues with the OUTshine Film Festival – Spring Edition, running April 23–30, 2026, with screenings, filmmaker appearances and special events across Miami and Miami Beach.
