Mercedes-Benz and US-based JDS Development Group and GV Development celebrate the launch of sales for the second tower at Mercedes-Benz Places in Miami. On February 5th the official opening of the specially commissioned Sales Gallery together with the unveiling of the prestigious Silver Arrow Lounge took place.
At more than 2.5 million square feet, Mercedes-Benz Places in Miami is one of the largest projects currently under construction in Florida. After the initial sales release for Tower 1 in the beginning of 2024, 100 units were purchased in just four days. As the 67-storey building takes shape, the custom Sales Gallery highlights the interior design for the residential suites. It also displays a first glimpse on the Silver Arrow Lounge. This resident-only rooftop space features a 16-metre swimming pool, a sweeping sun deck and an aesthetic inspired by the classic Mercedes-Benz “Silver Arrows” racing cars. Ultimately, the Sales Gallery reveals the essence of this eye-catching development: ultra modern design mixed with impeccable materials and flawless attention to detail.
Designed by Mercedes-Benz in collaboration with the award-winning SHoP Architects with residential interiors and amenity design Woods Bagot, the tower anchors the thriving Brickell neighborhood of Miami and represents a significant architectural achievement and new landmark for the city.
At ground level, Southside Park is being reimagined by renowned landscape architects, Field Operations. Topographic contours and strolling pathways will wind through a canopy of trees and native vegetation, leading to multi-use playgrounds, padel and basketball courts and green spaces, and the adjacent Underline park system.
“With construction of Mercedes-Benz Places in Miami well underway, we are laying the foundation for one of the most ambitious and innovative residential projects in Florida. Together with our partner JDS Development Group, we will showcase outstanding architecture, which is undeniably Mercedes Benz and deliver a community experience that is second to none.” Eva Wiese, Head of Mercedes-Benz Customer Solutions GmbH

Contemporary design creates desire and sets the standard for urban living
The striking cuboid tower, featuring stacked and offset volumes, will represent the Mercedes-Benz brand aesthetic. Its design will combine traditional craftsmanship with advanced technology, aiming to set a new standard for precision and quality.
"The architecture of Mercedes-Benz Places in Miami reflects the timeless tradition of our Design Philosophy of Sensual Purity and infuses iconic potential into luxury living. We are transferring our significant automotive design expertise into architecture and with that make a strong and different
timeless statement. Creating such a landmark in an iconic city like Miami is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity and an honor to do and makes a bold statement in modern urban living in one of the most exiting cities.” Gorden Wagener, Chief Design Officer, Mercedes-Benz Group AG
Arrival
Mercedes-Benz Design is working with Woods Bagot to create a thoroughly modern living space with materials and forms embracing stimulating contrasts. Standout details include the private Porte Cochère, which offers a lavish gateway into a newly unveiled lobby design which ensures convenience at the highest level. In celebrating the moment of arrival, residents are greeted with a soaring lobby draped with a rippling feature wall, creating a signature graphic expression for the property. Within the sculpted walls, concealed entries house additional portals and service areas for the building. The full height glass storefront allows a continuous connection to the beautifully curated outdoors, integrating nature, blurring the boundary between inside and out. Reception is adorned with a beautifully sculpted desk clad in brushed aluminum paneling creating a feeling of movement while the room is enveloped in layers of leather panels mimicking aerodynamic airflows.
Mercedes-Benz Places delivers visionary approach to urban living
The partnership between Mercedes-Benz Places and JDS in Miami will deliver a holistic, intelligent urban living experience. The Miami project comprises about 800 apartments ranging from studios to three-bedroom condominiums, and feature up to 10-feet-tall floor-to-ceiling windows, plus custom designed kitchens and bathrooms. Residents will enjoy spectacular views of Miami, Biscayne Bay and the Atlantic Ocean.
“We’re delighted to be launching the second tower at Mercedes-Benz Places in Miami – the international demand and sales to date have been extremely positive. It is a privilege to work with Mercedes-Benz to create a brand new, design-led community for the future underpinned by sustainable building methods. Mercedes-Benz Places in Miami is set to change the skyline of Brickell and create an entirely new neighbourhood in one of the world’s most exciting real-estate markets.” Michael Stern, Founder and CEO of JDS Development Group
The Mercedes-Benz Places in Miami project will offer spaces, services and experiences that transcend the ordinary. As a result, there will be more than 130,000 square feet of amenities and hospitality space. There’s an additional 250,000 square feet of, amongst others, premier office space and health and fitness facilities, and a 174-key hotel. There will also be space for EV charging stations, bicycle and scooter sharing, valet parking, and house cars.

Amenities Unveiling
As part of launch of tower two sales, the amenity designs were unveiled within the sales gallery, including the iconic Silver Arrow Lounge, F1 simulator, recording studio and chef’s kitchen of stunning proportions.
As the highest amenity offering at Mercedes-Benz Places in Miami, the Silver Arrow Lounge pays homage to the Inagural Silver Arrow racing cars that debuted at the 1934 Grand Prix. Drawing on the principle of freeform and geometry, the dynamic forms and curves of the Silver Arrows inspire
the overall geometry of the lounge. The walls are clad in a polished metal panel with moments of walnut and the heritage checked fabric carefully appointed throughout the lounge. Beautiful hand painted murals adorn the walls, creating unexpected moments that echo the exhilaration of when the Silver Arrow racing cars first took to the tracks. This is the epitome of heritage driven design.
The recording studio offers a one-of-a-kind amenity experience for residents: the acoustic-paneled walls come to life as reverberating sound waves, while carefully curated light staging accentuates a variety of textures and forms. Meanwhile, the design for the chef’s kitchen celebrates community, gathering, and the love for entertaining, offering direct connection to an outdoor terrace and a private dining room. The lofted geometries of the kitchen’s hood evoke boundless movement and aerodynamic design, while the calcatta gold lined walls anchor the space.
This is the second real-estate project in the brand portfolio and the first in the U.S. This visionary tower is part of the Mercedes-Benz licencing business by Mercedes-Benz Customer Solutions GmbH and is being developed by JDS Development Group. Innovative mobility and digital solutions will be developed in collaboration with ReWyre, a leading commercial property technology platform. Estimated occupancy is planned for 2027.
In keeping with Phase 1, sales for Phase 2 are being led by SERHANT, an American multi dimensional real estate and media company that focuses on reimagining neighbourhoods for tomorrow.
