Member Morning: World Ocean Day Presented by the Miami DDA

Dive into the world of sustainable seafood during a special Member Morning on World Ocean Day Presented by the Miami DDA.

On Saturday, June 8, members are invited to learn how to be a responsible seafood consumer from Miami’s renowned Chef Allen Susser. Chef Allen will demonstrate how to prepare lionfish in delicious fashion, highlighting how we can help solve the problem of invasive species with a tasty treat. Eat ‘em to beat ‘em!

Along with the demonstration, the Frost Science team will provide engaging, hands-on ocean conservation activations suitable for the whole family. Following the event, guests will have the opportunity to buy Chef Allen’s book, Green Fig and Lionfish, and have it personally signed.

The Member Morning will take place on Saturday, June 8. This event has limited capacity and members must reserve a spot to attend the event. Please reserve your spot along with your daily admission. The event will occur from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. in the Knight Learning Center on Level 5.
