Maiora 36 Exuma Launches: Italian Design, Luxury Comfort, and 33-knot Performance

Maiora, part of Next Yacht Group, has launched the new Maiora 36 Exuma, a 36.9-meter yacht that blends Italian craftsmanship, refined materials, and advanced engineering into one seamless experience at sea.

Designed in collaboration with Quartostile for the exterior and Acube Design for the interiors, the 36 Exuma showcases clean lines, soft curves, and a fluid transition between interior and exterior spaces. Built for both performance and comfort, the yacht delivers a top speed of 33 knots while maintaining exceptional stability, silence, and vibration-free cruising.

“The 36 Exuma embodies Maiora’s philosophy of combining elegance, innovation, and comfort,” said Giorgio Mattei, Deputy Chairman of Next Yacht Group. “It reflects our commitment to Italian style and technical excellence.”

Space, Style, and Seamless Living

Spread across four decks, the 36 Exuma accommodates up to 12 guests in five cabins, including a main deck owner’s suite with panoramic 270-degree views and four guest cabins on the lower deck. The crew quarters house five staff members in three cabins with dedicated circulation routes for privacy and efficiency.

The yacht’s design focuses on spatial harmony, offering full-beam layouts, large panoramic windows, and an Infinity Door system that visually connects bow to stern. Aft and forward relaxation zones include sunpads, an “al fresco” salon with 360-degree views, and a partially recessed panoramic pool. The uppermost deck—nicknamed the “Nest”—is conceived as an open-air retreat for quiet moments at sea.

Performance and Technology

At just 180 tons, the Maiora 36 Exuma is light for its class. Powered by three MAN V12-2000 engines and a triple MJP waterjet propulsion system, it reaches a maximum speed of 33 knots and a cruising speed of 20 knots, offering agility and comfort in equal measure. A shallow 1.45-meter draft allows access to secluded coastlines such as the Exumas, from which the yacht takes its name.
