“Magic Mike’s Last Dance” Will Celebrate its World Premiere in Miami on January 25

Bringing the heat to the Magic City once again, the film franchise’s long-awaited third installment, “Magic Mike’s Last Dance” will celebrate its world premiere in Miami on Wednesday, January 25. The exclusive event will include a star-studded red carpet featuring Channing Tatum and Salma Hayek Pinault before the film’s screening and after party at the bespoke MAGIC MIKE LIVE venue featuring a special appearance by the smash hit live show’s cast. The Magic City served as one of the movie’s two primary filming locations and is currently home to the hottest show in town, the North American touring production of MAGIC MIKE LIVE, which served as the inspiration for the film’s creation.

To thank Miami for its warm welcome, MAGIC MIKE LIVE will be surprising one lucky audience member at each performance now through January 23 with a pair of tickets to the world premiere event. All you have to do for a chance to celebrate amongst the stars is to be in the audience for one of the show’s nightly performances between Jan. 10 - 23. Tickets for the limited engagement of MAGIC MIKE LIVE are on sale now at MMLTour.com.

“When I saw [MAGIC MIKE LIVE], I was completely floored. I got on the phone that night like, ‘We need to make a movie about how this show got created,” said Steven Soderbergh, Director of “Magic Mike” and “Magic Mike’s Last Dance.” In 2017, the “Magic Mike” film franchise spawned the genre-busting MAGIC MIKE LIVE which has since thrilled more than 1.2 million guests with its resident shows in Las Vegas and London, past engagements in Berlin and Australia, and a recently launched North American tour that has taken Miami by storm. The live show features daring dance routines, thrilling acrobatics, live music, comedy, and specialty acts all centered around an inspiring message of empowerment.

When the film starring Tatum and Hayek-Pinault debuts, audiences will be dazzled by many of the same dance routines and heart-racing scenes that can be experienced live and in-person nightly on the MAGIC MIKE LIVE stages around the world, expertly choreographed by Alison Faulk and Luke Broadlick and performed by some of the most talented dancers in the world. Conceived and co-directed by Tatum, MAGIC MIKE LIVE has earned its place at the center of the cultural zeitgeist with regular appearances on major TV shows including The Drew Barrymore Show, ELLEN, The TODAY Show, The Graham Norton Show, This is Us, Britain’s Got Talent, The Late Late Show with James Corden, and more. The franchise also inspired the HBO Max reality competition series “Finding Magic Mike.”

Fans who have not yet experienced the live show for themselves yet can get a taste of the magic that’s to come live and in-person at MAGIC MIKE LIVE: The Tour before the film premieres on February 10. MAGIC MIKE LIVE: The Tour is currently performing Wednesday through Sunday in a custom-built venue in Key Biscayne for a limited time before heading to its next major North American city this spring.
