Our journey begins in Hamburg, a port city shaped by centuries of trade, before moving on to Berlin, Germany’s dynamic capital known for its blend of grit, glamour, and cutting-edge gastronomy. Heading north, we arrive in Copenhagen, a city that has become synonymous with culinary revolution and sustainable luxury. Crossing the Öresund Bridge into Sweden, we explore the charming canals of Gothenburg and the stylish streets of Stockholm, each stop offering distinct regional flavors and Nordic hospitality. Our final leg takes us west into Oslo, where Norway’s capital blends bold architecture with a deep reverence for nature.

Eurail Pass: Effortless Train Travel Through Scandinavia
Traveling through Scandinavia can be incredibly easy, sustainable, and stress-free with a Eurail Pass, available at eurail.com. This all-in-one train ticket gives you flexible access to most major cities across Europe, making it ideal for exploring multiple countries without the need to book separate tickets.

For my trip, I chose the Global Pass, valid for one month. I opted for first class whenever it was available because it offered adjustable seats, extra legroom, wide tables, power outlets, and even cabin service with seat-side menu options. Just note that seat reservations aren’t included with the pass and need to be booked separately on some trains.
I highly recommend downloading the Eurail Mobile Pass & Rail Planner. It gives you real-time schedules, an interactive map, and the ability to easily adjust departure times. The app kept everything organized and made the trip completely stress-free from start to finish.
