Luxe Miami Condo Unveils 10k Sqft Wellness-club-like Spa With Roman Baths

Miami Living unveils an over-the-top Roman bathhouse-style spa inside Florida's first standalone Four Seasons-branded residence.

Spanning 10,000 square feet, the spa will offer your typical condo amenities like a fitness center and massage room, but also an array of impressive features rarely, if ever, seen in residential buildings — an ice fountain, cold plunge, hydromassage pool, horizontal shower, leg shower meant to improve circulation, and a full sauna circuit inspired by ancient Roman bath chambers, with each room varying in increasing heat and decreasing humidity. Coined the "Caesar Experience," the saunas — a hammam, laconium, caldarium and frigidarium — can be used to promote relaxation or, if experienced in the opposite direction, to energize and invigorate. Developers CMC Group and Fort Partners brought on a dedicated spa consultant based in Italy to design the space.

With the always-expanding wellness industry anticipated to explode even further in 2025 — the Global Wellness Institute has reported that the global wellness economy will grow at an annual rate of 8.6 percent, reaching $7.4 trillion in 2025 — now is the perfect time to explore how developers like CMC and Fort are keeping pace with wellness trends and bringing spas akin to popular membership clubs to their residents' door.
