Luminosa Returns to Jungle Island for 2025 With Dazzling New Global Landscapes

ree

Jungle Island and LEKTRIK Art announce the return of Luminosa, Miami’s immersive light festival, now in its fourth year. From November 14, 2025, through March 7, 2026, the park will transform into a glowing wonderland featuring new handcrafted silk lanterns, 3D light sculptures, and interactive experiences inspired by the world’s most mystical landscapes.

This year’s festival takes visitors on an illuminated journey through global ecosystems—from the Amazon rainforest to the African savannah and ancient Egypt—brought to life with animatronics, holograms, and vibrant light displays. “Luminosa 2025 represents our most ambitious and immersive festival yet,” said Jeremy Hauwelaert, President & CEO of Jungle Island. “It truly feels like stepping into a fairytale.”

Highlights include a 43-foot Chinese dragon at the Gateway of the Dragon Emperor, towering baobab trees, and glowing capybara lanterns in the Colorful Amazon. The Savannah Oasis offers interactive water effects among illuminated zebras and elephants, while the Frozen Kingdom glistens with wolves, jellyfish, and a polar bear beneath a shimmering aurora.

More than 37 large-scale scenes have been crafted using 58,000 LED bulbs, 160 tons of steel, and 200,000 feet of silk-like fabric. “Each year we push what’s possible in immersive art,” said Justin Corsa, CEO of LEKTRIK Art. “This year’s worlds feel alive and transportive.”

Also returning is Jungle Island’s Holiday Village, featuring festive lights, a 30-foot Christmas tree, holiday treats, and live performances. Tickets start at $30.78 for adults and $21.58 for children, with discounts available. Luminosa runs nightly from 5:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. (10:30 p.m. on weekends).

Join the waitlist and be notified when tickets go on sale October 15, 2025, at www.luminosamiami.com. Jungle Island is located at 1111 Parrot Jungle Trail between Downtown Miami and South Beach.
