LOUIS XIII Cognac has released its limited edition 2026 Lunar New Year coffret, featuring the Classic Decanter Year of the Horse. The launch marks the fourth consecutive year of the brand’s artistic partnership with Liu Lihong, a heritage craft inheritor of traditional Chinese papercutting.

The 2026 design incorporates the zodiac horse created with traditional Chinese stamp techniques. The artwork also features Hippeastrum flowers, which represent prosperity and joy. Each decanter is presented in a vibrant red coffret adorned with these golden motifs to symbolize fortune for the new spring.
The spirit within the LOUIS XIII decanter is a blend of up to 1,200 rare eaux-de-vie sourced exclusively from Grande Champagne. These are aged for decades in traditional Limousin oak tierçons, resulting in a complex profile with notes of dried fruits, honey, and floral accents.

The limited edition decanter is available through LOUIS XIII’s network of Private Client Directors and at select luxury retailers with a suggested retail price of $4,600.
