Louis Vuitton has announced the debut of The Artycapucines VII - Louis Vuitton x Takashi Murakami Collection. Since the first Artycapucines Collection in 2019, the Capucines bag has provided a perfect blank canvas for 30 contemporary artists to create highly limited edition Artycapucines bags.Â

The eleven latest designs - each created by internationally renowned Japanese contemporary artist Takashi Murakami - pay testament to the collection’s ability to unite artists’ talent with the savoir-faire and craftsmanship of the House’s masterful artisans.Â
Together with Louis Vuitton’s design team, Murakami reinterprets the Capucines bag to sublimely sculptured portable works of art. Highlights of the 11-piece collection include the Capucines EW Rainbow, Capucines Mini Mushroom, Capucines Mini Tentacle, Capucines EW Dragon, Capucines BB Golden Garden, and a remarkable Panda Clutch, among others.Â
Today, the Artycapucines Collection contains over 30 distinctive designs by celebrated artists from across the world, revealing the quintessence of the House’s commitment to artistic creativity, savoir-faire and craft.
The bags were revealed just yesterday (October 21st) at Art Basel Paris. All bags in Artycapucines VII - Louis Vuitton x Takashi Murakami Collection will be available in highly limited editions.
