Louis Vuitton Unveils Limited-Edition Woody Wagon Colognes Collection
Louis Vuitton has introduced the Woody Wagon Colognes gift set, a limited-edition piece created with artist Alex Israel that brings together fragrance, design and contemporary art through a California-inspired miniature vehicle.
The Woody Wagon gift set contains the Maison’s six Cologne fragrances and is produced in a limited edition of 66 pieces, a reference to Route 66. The object, conceived as a sculptural landscape of California, was crafted by 60 artisans over more than 7,000 hours and is composed of 219 individual elements. Its roof and wooden doors are subtly engraved with the Louis Vuitton Monogram motif and the wheels are decorated with Monogram flowers, combining vintage wagon design with the House’s contemporary codes.
Constructed from materials including semi aged natural beige leather and mahogany wood, the Woody Wagon is positioned as a collectible that merges the brand’s Art of Travel with Alex Israel’s long-standing exploration of Los Angeles. Priced at $11,700, it is available by pre-order in a limited run of 66 pieces, with delivery scheduled for late September.
Alongside the gift set, Louis Vuitton has released new travel cases for three of its colognes, Sun Song, California Dream and Afternoon Swim. Made from translucent resin in gradients of yellow and orange, pink to blue, and oceanic blues respectively, the cases feature an all-over Monogram motif and are designed to highlight the colors of each scent. Each version is available in a limited edition of 100 pieces and is priced at $1,400.
