Louis Vuitton Introduces New Colorways of the Go-14 Bag
Originally introduced in the Spring-Summer 2015 show by Nicolas Ghesquière, Louis Vuitton’s GO-14 handbag is reimagined in the Fall-Winter 2023 runway collection.
Mimicking the interior of Maison’s iconic trunks, the padded lambskin is now embellished in an innovative technique called malletage. The refined sprayed padding effect applied by hand on the new Malletage Satin animation gives a futuristic allure to the bags. This animation emphasizes Maison’s avant-gardist mindset that prevails season after season in the search for new materials that continuously elevate the iconic shapes of the House.
The GO-14 bag is unique in Louis Vuitton’s history and is both a commencement and a culmination. The bag is available in several new colorways and is poised to become the latest iconic bag of the House.
