Longtime friends Taylor Fritz & Tommy Paul to Meet in Third Round
Miami residents Taylor Fritz and Tommy Paul will meet in the third round of the Miami Open presented by Itaú on Monday, March 28th. They are longtime friends and foes, having also met in the 2015 boys’ singles finals at Roland Garros (Paul won) and the US Open (Fritz won). Fritz is at a career-high No. 13 and Paul is at a career-high No. 37 in this week’s ATP Rankings.
On Sunday, Fritz practiced on Court 10 at 1 pm and was followed on the same court by Paul at 2 pm. In between, they posed for photos.
