Lina Cerrone Gallery Marks Second Anniversary With International Winter Exhibitions in Wynwood

Lina Cerrone Gallery in Miami’s Wynwood Arts District is marking its second anniversary with four winter exhibitions featuring international and local artists. The lineup includes Quantum Painting by French artist Véronique Barrillot, Mystic Roots by Colombian artist Juliana Plexxo, Oh What Beautiful Flowers by Miami-based artist Patrick Penkwitt, and Resonance by contemporary graffiti artist Cedric Bouteiller.

Quantum Painting by Véronique Barrillot

Through January 5, 2026 | Exclusive event: December 2, 6–9 p.m.

Véronique Barrillot, known for her exploration of physics through visual art, presents works using a “double-vision” technique inspired by quantum theory. Each canvas contains superimposed states that shift with the viewer’s movement, creating an experience where perception determines what is seen. The exhibition invites audiences to engage directly with the artwork, where each step or change in perspective reveals a new layer of visual information.

Mystic Roots by Juliana Plexxo

November 30 – December 31, 2025 | Artist event: November 30, 6–8 p.m.

ree

Juliana Plexxo’s work is grounded in themes of duality, spirituality, and humanity’s relationship with nature. Her abstract pieces were included in Interplay: Contemporary Geometric Abstraction, part of the Lunar Codex archive sent to the Moon through NASA’s Artemis program. Plexxo works primarily in metal engraving, printing each plate only once before destroying it— a process centered on transformation and impermanence. Her visual motifs, including the bull and recurring symbolic forms, draw from her early life in Colombia and longstanding engagement with mortality and myth.

Oh What Beautiful Flowers by Patrick Penkwitt

Permanent exhibition | Artist event: December 4, 6–8 p.m.

ree

Patrick Penkwitt, who grew up in a family of photographers in Stuttgart, began his artistic career in extreme sports photography before shifting into fashion and commercial work. His current practice merges these influences into imaginative paintings that balance whimsy with emotional depth. Known for both his vibrant color palettes and his intuitive drawing process, Penkwitt creates one-of-a-kind works that incorporate surreal storytelling and references to figures such as Lionel Messi and LeBron James.

Resonance by Cedric Bouteiller

Through January 5, 2026 | Live art event: December 6, 6–9 p.m.

ree

Cedric Bouteiller’s mixed-media practice blends photography, graffiti, digital art, and collage. Inspired by his studies in plastic arts and philosophy, as well as extensive travel through urban centers worldwide, his work incorporates layers of printed imagery, stenciling, and graffiti on brushed aluminum. These compositions are sealed with translucent resin, creating a polished surface that anchors the chaotic and experimental elements beneath it. His Wynwood appearance includes a live painting event on December 6.
