Miami Living (ML): Lex, it’s such a pleasure to connect with you. You’ve had an incredible journey – from shaping the global sound of Latin music to now sparking a worldwide conversation on mindset and purpose. How does it feel to see your creative evolution unfold in this new chapter of your life?

Lex: Every season of my life has been leading to this moment. For years, my energy went into building things outward: artists, music, brands. But now I feel I’m creating from a much deeper place. You vs You was born from the part of me that wanted to understand why we chase so much yet still feel empty. So this chapter feels peaceful.  I’m not chasing impact anymore, I’m living it.

ML: You’ve built a reputation for merging creativity, precision, and purpose — whether in music, luxury lifestyle, or now with You vs You. What inspired the shift from building culture externally to exploring the inner architecture of success and self-mastery?

Lex: For a long time, I thought success was about how much I could achieve. But once you reach a certain level, you realize the real work starts inside. I built culture for others but I had to rebuild myself. The shift came when I understood that creativity and mindset are the same thing. You can’t build something meaningful on the outside if you’re crumbling on the inside. You vs You became my way to explore that truth to turn the spotlight inward.

ML: In You vs You, you invite high achievers to strip away their outer achievements and speak from a place of honesty and vulnerability. What’s one moment from your own journey where you had to face your “You vs You”, and how did that experience redefine your path?

Lex: When I had everything I ever dreamed of – money, success, influence – and still felt empty. That’s when I realized I had been building a version of success that wasn’t actually mine. Facing my You vs You meant stripping away the titles, the noise, and sitting in the silence. That’s where I found clarity, and honestly, peace.

ML: You’ve worked closely with some of the world’s most influential artists and entrepreneurs – from Will Smith to J Balvin and Bad Bunny. What have you learned about mindset and resilience from those collaborations that continues to shape your path today?

Lex: Working with people at that level taught me one thing: greatness is consistency in motion. The ones who last are the ones who never stop growing.

ML: As someone who’s constantly innovating, how do you stay grounded and creative amidst so much expansion? Do you have any daily rituals or mindset practices that help you recharge and stay aligned?

Lex: By protecting my mornings and my peace. I start every day with silence, prayer, and gratitude. No phone, no meetings, just reflection. Creativity needs stillness to breathe. I’ve learned that when I’m grounded, I can lead better, create better, and serve better. My discipline is my freedom.

ML: When you wake up each morning, what excites you most about your life and the work you’re doing right now?

Lex: That I get to create without limits, but this time, from purpose. I wake up excited to build things that feed people’s souls, not just their playlists. Whether it’s a project, a show, or a podcast, my question is always: will this help someone grow?

ML: Looking ahead, you’re leading major projects like NEON16’s continued rise, the NVISION Latino Film & Music Festival, and You vs You. What legacy do you hope to build through this next chapter, and what message do you want to leave for the next generation of creators?

Lex: I want to show the next generation that success without peace isn’t success. That your dreams are not meant to impress, but to express who you really are. My legacy isn’t the hits or the accolades – it’s helping people realize they already have everything they need inside them. You vs You is not just a show it’s a movement reminding us that the biggest win in life is mastering yourself.
