The Phillip and Patricia Frost Museum of Science in Miami is entering the final days of its exhibition "Leonardo da Vinci – 500 Years of Genius," which will close on Sunday, April 5, 2026. The show is presented in the Hsiao Family Special Exhibition Gallery on the museum’s first floor and is included with standard museum admission.

The exhibition highlights Leonardo’s artistic and scientific achievements through interactive displays, large scale visuals and interpretive content. Visitors can examine what organizers describe as the only exact 360-degree replica of the "Mona Lisa" created with a 240-million-pixel multispectral camera, which reveals hidden details and the work’s original early 16th-century colors.

Additional sections feature full-scale reconstructions of Leonardo’s machine inventions, including concepts for flying and underwater devices, built by Italian artisans using his original codices. A multi-sensory immersive environment also guides guests through Italian cities associated with Leonardo’s life and work, combining projected imagery, sound, scent and narrative.

"Leonardo da Vinci – 500 Years of Genius" is created and produced by Grande Experiences in collaboration with Museo Leonardo da Vinci in Rome. Details on hours, admission and planning a visit are available on the museum’s official website and the exhibition information page. Learn more about "Leonardo da Vinci – 500 Years of Genius."
