Lefferts, New York and Miami-based real estate development firm, has completed its newestluxury condominium tower, 72 Park, marking a major milestone for Miami Beach’s fast-evolving North Beach neighborhood. Located at 580 72nd St., the 22-story building is the first new condotower to open in North Beach in more than five years and the first newly constructed luxury tower in Miami Beach to permit short-term vacation rentals.

With the completion of 72 Park, Lefferts has officially opened the doors to a new era of flexible,high-end living in one of South Florida’s most desirable oceanside communities. The project’s remaining units range from 470 to 1,177 square feet, with prices starting in the $800,000s. An on-site gallery is now open, offering prospective buyers an immersive look at the property and the opportunity to tour the few residences still available.
“We are incredibly proud to announce the completion of 72 Park, which is the first building in the area to offer short-term rental options,” said Mendy Chudaitov, founder of Lefferts. “72 Park represents a bold step forward in how we envision modern living, blending luxury and flexibility to meet the needs of today’s homeowners and travelers alike.”
The tower features 206 fully finished residences, all with private balconies, floor-to-ceiling glasswindows and sleek, contemporary interiors. A sweeping amenity deck on the fifth floor offers a 150-foot resort-style pool, poolside cabanas, outdoor dining areas with grilling stations, a club room and a state-of-the-art fitness center, giving residents the experience of resort living from the comfort of home.

With 72 Park, Lefferts is also helping to reshape the broader North Beach landscape. The development is part of a pipeline of projects Lefferts is bringing to the area, including PALMA Miami Beach Residences, a 14-story tower with 126 turnkey homes (already more than 30% sold), slated to break ground later this year. Future developments include 72 Carlyle, a 19-story, 134-unit luxury condominium, and 880 71st St., a boutique mixed-use project with 36 residences.
Buyers and investors are attracted to North Beach’s laid-back coastal vibe and growing list of recreational and cultural amenities. Steps from 72 Park, residents will find the beloved Miami Beach Bandshell, the Miami Beach Tennis Academy, North Shore Park – the city’s largest park and the soon-to-be-developed 72nd Street Community Complex, which will feature an aquatic
center, a library, an innovation hub, pickleball courts and expanded green spaces. Plans are also underway to revitalize the historic Byron Carlyle Theater, adding another cultural draw to the area.
In addition to its residential offerings, 72 Park will soon be home to several new dining concepts, including the first Florida location of Roberta’s, the famed Michelin Bib Gourmand-awarded pizzeria known for its artisanal pies and seasonal menu. The Brooklyn-born eatery will bring a taste of New York’s vibrant culinary scene to Miami Beach. A Mediterranean restaurant and a coffee shop are also coming to 72 Park.

For Lefferts, which has developed over 3 million square feet of residential, mixed-use and commercial space in New York and South Florida over the past two decades, the completion of 72 Park represents the culmination of years of planning and the start of an ambitious effort to help redefine the North Beach neighborhood.
