Kering at Art Basel – Celebrating “Woman Made: Great Women Designers”

Kering, Phaidon, Christie’s and Saint Heron joined together to celebrate the women designers of WOMAN MADE: Great Woman Designers in Miami – a comprehensive new book spotlighting women of the past, present, and future, and their contributions to furniture, textile, product, and lighting design. The VIP dinner, which took place at Craig Robins and Jackie Soffer’s Miami Beach home, was hosted by Solange Knowles, Founder, Creator & Art Director of Saint Heron.
Designers, Kering, Christie’s, Phaidon, and Saint Heron executives, and VIP members of the art, design, and fashion community started the evening by gathering for cocktails and enjoyed music by the popular DJ Rashida, before enjoying a dinner prepared by Michelle Bernstein Catering. Notable guests included Solange Knowles, Derek Blasberg, Chloe Wise, Elle Macpherson and more. In addition to the publication of the new book, guests celebrated Kering and Phaidon’s collaboration on a multimedia online platform aimed to inspire and educate the next generation of designers and highlighted the Women In Motion Design Scholarship, an award of up to $25,000 to support one outstanding undergraduate woman designer student whose curriculum is centered around product, furniture, textile, or lighting design.
