Jonathan Hopp Joins DCOTA as Director of Design Services
The Design Center of the Americas (DCOTA) has appointed Jonathan Hopp as its new Director of Design Services. With over 30 years of experience in residential and commercial interior design, Hopp has worked with high-end clients globally.
Hopp founded Jonathan Hopp Interior Design in 1999, with offices in Fort Lauderdale and Los Angeles. His firm has managed multi-million-dollar projects, from Malibu to Manhattan and Switzerland to Tahiti, including estates over 10,000 square feet, luxury vacation homes, and condominiums.
"DCOTA's legacy, prestige, and potential appeal to professional designers, enthusiasts, and the public," said Hopp. "Successful design involves collaboration between designer, client, architect, and builder to maximize form, function, and comfort. My aim is to ensure smooth communication throughout the entire process, making purchasing easy."
At DCOTA, Hopp will collaborate with luxury showrooms to enhance service quality and oversee the DCOTA Select Showroom. He will also serve as a liaison between DCOTA and South Florida’s design community, ensuring that both design professionals and end users benefit from the center’s resources.
Throughout his career, Hopp has held senior design positions at prominent firms such as The Decorators Unlimited in West Palm Beach, Neil Kelly Company in Portland, and Mark Weaver & Associates in Southern California. He is also the author of *Interior Bliss: How to Decorate Like a Pro Without Breaking the Bank*, and has hosted a TV design segment. His work has been featured in publications like *Good Housekeeping* and *Beautiful Homes & Great Estates*.
DCOTA has been a premier resource for designers, architects, and clients for over 30 years.
