Commercial Real Estate Women Miami hosted a special breakfast program featuring Jessica Goldman Srebnick on Wednesday, March 18, 2026. The event, titled “Art & Ambition: A Fireside Chat with Jessica Goldman Srebnick,” took place at the Hotel Colonnade Coral Gables.

Goldman Srebnick, Co-Chair of Goldman Properties and CEO of Goldman Global Arts, discussed leadership and cultural placemaking. As a second-generation developer, she shared insights on expanding the legacy of the Wynwood Walls and transforming neighborhoods into global cultural destinations.

Addressed Industry Trends and Equity

The program highlighted findings from the CREW Network 2025 Benchmark Study, which analyzed workplace trends and equity in the industry. Key data points included:

  • Women represented 38% of the commercial real estate workforce.

  • The compensation gap narrowed from 34% in 2020 to 13%.

  • Women held approximately 9% of C-suite positions industry-wide.

  • Gender discrimination was identified as the primary barrier to career advancement for the first time in the study’s history.

Emily Butler, 2026 CREW Miami Board President and Office Managing Partner at CohnReznick, noted that the program reinforced real pathways for professional growth by bringing established leaders into direct dialogue with members.

CREW Miami’s Role and Future Events

Founded in 1987, CREW Miami supported over 150 professionals across South Florida through mentorship, scholarships, and networking. The organization’s membership spanned various leadership levels across development, finance, law, and brokerage.

Looking ahead, CREW Miami prepared to serve as the host chapter for the 2026 CREW Network Convention. The event was scheduled for September 23 through September 25, 2026, at the Fontainebleau Miami Beach, bringing together more than 1,300 industry leaders for deal making and education.
