Inside Paige Uncaged: How Paige Woolen Is Redefining Late-Night for the Digital Age

Paige Woolen has never been one to play by the rules – unless those rules involve roasting bad DMs and turning dating disasters into comedy gold. The model, comedian-adjacent host, and viral internet personality is now stepping into a new spotlight with Paige Uncaged, her late-night-meets-lemonade-stand talk show that thrives on chaos, self-deprecation, and the kind of honesty that makes you laugh because it hurts just a little. With over a million followers and a reputation for unfiltered wit, Paige sits down with Miami Living Magazine to talk about turning internet chaos into a career, why the bar may be low but her standards are lower, and how she’s redefining what late-night looks like in 2025.

Miami Living (ML): Paige, your new YouTube talk show, Paige Uncaged, looks like late-night television after three espresso shots and a bad breakup - in the best way possible. How did the idea for hosting from a lemonade stand first spark, and what was the journey from concept to actually pressing record?

Paige: I’ve always loved the chaos of late-night but wanted to flip it on its head. The lemonade stand started as a joke, like if life gives you lemons at least build a set out of it. Once I realized the absurdity actually worked I leaned all the way in. It felt fresh, a little unhinged, and honestly more “me” than a polished desk ever could. I also spend way too much time doomscrolling and I didn’t want the show to feel like just another mic in your face rant. The stand makes it like a meltdown but with brighter colors.

ML: Before we get into the madness of Paige Uncaged, who is Paige Woolen when the cameras are off? How do you recharge after turning modern dating disasters into comedy gold?

Paige: Off camera I am a lot quieter than people expect. Most of my time is spent with my English bulldog Darla Mae (who snores louder than most men I have dated), eating sushi in sweatpants, or convincing myself that scrolling Zillow counts as self-care. I recharge by leaning into the simple things- time with close friends, family, or just staying in. The disasters usually happen after too many drinks at happy hour, but at home with Darla Mae I am more about calm nights than chaos… at least until she steals my spot on the couch.

ML: For readers who haven’t yet seen Paige Uncaged, how would you describe it in your own words? Is it stand-up, late-night parody, dating chaos therapy - or a little bit of all three?

Paige: I like to think of the show  as late-night’s chaotic little cousin who got grounded but still snuck out to overshare. It is part parody, part dating therapy, and part confessional booth dressed up as a lemonade stand. Some episodes feel like a roast, some feel like a diary entry, and some are just pure chaos. Mostly it is me yapping to the camera because therapy is too expensive.

ML: Your brand grew from exposing shady DMs into a full blown comedy empire. Do you ever feel like you’re holding up a mirror to modern dating, or more like you’re holding up a red flag collection?

Paige: Definitely a red flag collection. A mirror feels too flattering, and modern dating doesn’t deserve soft lighting. I like to think of myself as the curator of a very unglamorous museum where every exhibit is a text that should have stayed in the drafts. People recognize their own red flags in it, which is comforting and terrifying at the same time. Half the time I am just roasting my own choices and pretending it is research. The other half I am realizing the museum is probably just my dating history with better captions.

ML: Comedy is often rooted in pain, awkwardness, and truth. What’s a moment in your personal life that was mortifying at the time but turned into comedic gold later?

Paige: Honestly, most of my mortifying moments just end up getting recycled into content. At first they feel like a personal crisis and then two weeks later they are something I talk about on camera. My life is basically one long audition tape for secondhand embarrassment. Like the time I accidentally texted the wrong guy a screenshot about him, it was brutal in the moment but now it is just part of the pile of stories that keep this whole thing running. If it is awkward enough to haunt me it is probably strong enough to make the cut.

ML: You’ve built a career out of sharp humor and self-deprecation, but what’s something about you that might genuinely surprise your followers, a softer or unexpected side they don’t usually see online?

Paige: People are usually surprised that I am pretty paranoid. I am always convinced the Wi-Fi is spying on me, I will cross the street if someone is walking behind me too long, and I still check the backseat of my car like I am in a crime show. At this point it feels less like paranoia and more like a full-time hobby.

ML: Looking ahead, do you see Paige Uncaged as a stepping stone to something bigger and let us know your plans for the future?

Paige: Right now I see Paige Uncaged as part of a bigger experiment. I have a lot of different concepts in my head and I am basically throwing a ton of things at the wall to see what sticks. I am literally buying a second set for another idea I had, which probably makes me sound more like an impulsive shopper than a strategist. The plan is to keep creating until one of these ideas finally pays off my Home Depot credit card.
